I have a 93 Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD. In park at idle I tap on the gas. The rpm increase. When the rpm drops back down to idle is spudders roughly and stalls. It also stalls when going form reverse to drive. It has 35psi gas pressure, new MAP sensor, new cap, new rotor, 9 volts at speed sensor. Anyone have any suggestions?

How old is your battery? When I first bought my Jeep it did the same thing. It turned out to be a bad cell in a Wal Mart battery. I put a new Die Hard gold in it and the problem went away. Anyway that would be the first thing I would check. SJ

sounds like your idle/air control valve is sticking. i had a problem just like that on a chrysler new yorker that i used to have. you might want to check that out.

Thanks for the advice. I took the entire throttle body apart and cleaned it. It was full of black deposits. The idle/air control valve tip was full of the same. I put it back together and no more stalling. Thanks again.
