My boss has a 2001 PA and was told by the dealership his rear shocks needed replacing. The cost will be 700.00 for the parts and install. Is there an aftermarket shock I can install for him at a greatly reduced price?

I am curious why the shocks need replacing so soon..
What were the complaints and problems or conditions?

He said they were leaking oil.
