I changed my rad/thermostat....
I notice rad-fluid pooling on top of the thermostat housing and wondering if I may have a bad gasket, or just not tightened properly?
Any one with this before?
thx.

I tightened the three bolts up a little this morning (-20 degrees) before and after driving.
If it still leaks a little, I'll also reseat the gasket as well. Glad it is at the top - easy to get to.
thx. baron1701.

beware, this leak can go pretty deep. Not just the housing or water pump.:nono:

What do you mean. The pooling fluid that is sitting on the thermoastat housing may not be from that area?
