Broke Upper Ball Joint

I have a broken upper ball joint, the ball with the tapered shaft and threads at the bottem is all that is remaining. I can not figure out how to remove this part. I tried using a pickling fork but it is to wide to catch the ball well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome on your first post on AF.
Take a big hammer and whack it on the side/end of arm where the ball joint stud goes threw.
And always wear safety glasses.
Let us know how it goes.

Heated the piss out of it with some torches and stuck a open end wrench around the stud and put the pickling fork on top of that. Gave me enough leverage to pop it out. Just needed a bit of heat.
