I Just Replaced My Intake Gasket And Replaced My Spark Plugs, Wires, & Thermostat Because Of A Leaky Intake Gasket Flooding My #5 Cylinder And Causing It To Misfire. My Car Now Runs Like A Million $$$ But I No Longer Have Heat Inside The Cabin And My Temperature Guage Doesn't Go As High As It Used To. I Re-replaced The Thermostat Thinking That I Had A Bad One That Was Stuck Open, But It Still Isn't Working. And Yes, My Fluid Level Is Where It Should Be. Any Suggestions?

Couple things to try. After your truck warms up, does the top radiator hose become pressurized (and become hot)? Secondly, is the outflow hose from the compartment heater as hot as the heater intake?

Best Regards,
Stan

Over The Weekend I, Per A Couple Recommendations, Jacked My Front End Up As Far As It Would Go And Then Let It Run For 2 Hours, Occassionally Reving The Engine. When I Was Done, The Heat Was Fairly Good. After I Lowered The Vehicle, However, It Went Right Back To Cold Air.
