92 lumina z34 stalled driving down the highwayNick Mat 03-02-2007, 12:55 AM tonight i was driving home from a short cruise down the highway and about a minute after i put the cruise control on and sat back my car bogged and very shortlt after stalled out and wouldnt start. also about a week ago my girlfriend was driving my car and after she stopped and shut the car off she could not get it going again and we had to wait overnight untill we were able to get it going again. i thought that maybe there was water in the gas and the frozen in the intake but after my experience on the highway tonight i'm havin different thoughts. AND...my check engine light keeps coming on and a few seconds later shutting off...i was thinking just emissions?...but...probly not...the car has also stalled a few times sitting idleing after it's been driven for an hour or so...this is the second time it has happened since i got the car a month ago... anyway.....i'd appreciate any advice or any tipsat all...this is my first car and i'm hoping i can get it fixed. thanks... richtazz 03-02-2007, 05:56 AM Intermittent stalling can be caused by many things. Crank position sensor, Ignition control module, fuel pump, and ECM just to name a few. When the car stalls, you need to determine whether you have spark, fuel or neither. This will help narrow down what the problem is. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
