Hey I have a 1993 Jeep Grand cherokee limited edition. When I turn on the jeep and look at the overhead console to see the gas mileage I get and it says 14.4, but when I put it in gear and start moving it turns to 8.8MPG. It has never done this before and just started, has anyone else had this problem and what did u do to fix it. Thanx

Typically the 14.4 reading you see when you start it up is/was your last average before you turned it off. The 8.8 is what you are getting right at that second, watch it long enough and you'll see it go up and down depending on your driving conditions.
