Determining which hub/sensor is bad?

Hey,

So we figured out that the abs light, SVS, and trac off is the wheel hub assembly needing to be replaced. Now the question is..which one needs to be replaced?? I phoned the dealership here and they want 79.99 just to hook up to the scanner.

I read that you can use an ohm meter to figure it out. What are the values that you are looking for?

To test it we need to unplug the sensor and check the resistance between the two pins that lead out to the assembley, right??

Any help on this is greatly appreciated

Reading the resistance may help diagnose which hub/wheel sensor is bad but not always the case. Across the two contacts hub side you should get a ballpark reading of 1,000 ohms and all four should be close together in readings. Also, it is a good idea to check the reference signal (dc volts) from the ABS module which can be done at the electrical connector.
