HUD install in '68 camaro???bibc14 10-04-2002, 05:58 PM Is it possible to install a heads-up-display from a grand prix (or corvette) in a '68 Chevy Camaro?? What else (besides the HUD unit to project the image) would i need to install, maybe a ECM from the grand prix, to give the info to the HUD???? There have been people that have replaced windsheilds on HUD equipped cars with normal windshields and had no adverse effects. The problem is going to be the HUD itself. It gets most of it's info from the PCM and the motor sensors. Since you car isn't ODBII (or even ODBI), you're gonna have trouble getting it to read anything at all. Talk about a wiring and programming nightmare!
