Hey everyone,

I am seriously considering putting the 17" wheels that come on the Scion on my 2004 Prius. I have seen several references that state that these wheels will fit on the 2004-2007 Prius. Below is a link that gave me this idea in the first place. It does have a picture of a Prius with these wheels on it.

I am curious if anyone out there has put other wheels on their Prius or knows anyone that has.

Many thanks.

Greetings Boeing,
I just signed up for this forum. I have a 2005 Prius, so I don't have any thoughts on Scion wheels.
But, have you had trouble backing up a Prius on a steep hill? Mine and a friend's will not back up a hill that can be climbed in forward. This is a bad deal depending upon where you have to park.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Stu

Can't help you there. I've never encountered that problem, sorry. I'd ask around though. Another good Prius forum is on Priuschat.com. Tons of info there, good luck!

I wouldn't change the wheels on the prius. I've heard of some buying the big big rims with very low profile tires and the mpg drops like a rock to 30-35. They put the original low rolling resistant tires on and are back to 45-50 mpg.
It was designed as a very nice complete system. Don't mess it up just for vanity looks.

Those fat tire/wheels will also make it worse if you drive in snow.
