What do I need to do to quite the lifters some on 97 blazer? I'm getting rid of it and don't want to change the lifters on it. I just want to quite them down so it doesn't sound that bad when I take it back to the dealership that sold me the crap. ;)

First things first; are you using a fram oil filter? They will make it tick like a sewing machine because they are absolute junk. You could try adding a little transmission fluid in the oil to clean some gunk out of the motor. Also I have always had good luck using Lucas oil stabilizer.
