extra vehicle insured in Californianmikmik 02-22-2007, 12:17 AM Ok, I need to find out how to save on my “extra” car’s insurance. I live in California if it matters. I always had an extra car beater or not, but it was covered when there was only me and my wife driving when I lived in Wisconsin. Here insurance companies say that no matter how many drivers are there, I have to pay for each car. But I can’t physically drive two cars at the same time, so how do I prove to them that I am not magician? Thanks, fredjacksonsan 02-22-2007, 07:56 AM Hmmm, interesting. So in WI you only have to pay for one car per driver, no matter how many you own? You had it good, then. Here in VA you pay by the vehicle also. I think you may be out of luck if you want to keep both cars. nikita7 07-13-2007, 12:20 AM Cali Insurance laws are fked up. I sold my mazda, and still had two pre-paid month on the policy. I called them to put talon on the policy, since it is already paid for...nope. Damn idiots had me pay all over for the talon.
