Hi,

flocking in the trunk looks fine.

The trunk gasket doesn´t look straight on the left side.

I love the flocking, what are you using for it?

Keep up the awesome build.

The trunk bay looks great, Marcin!

Also a nice idea to laminate the styrene with brass sheet to get strength and help it keep shape and still be thin  Your techiniqu for fixing it looks very nice too. However, unless you are playing cricket I think you should call it a hinge and not a "wicket" ;)

Can you show a picture with the trunk lid shut?

I agree with Micha on the gasket

Very nice flocking. The truk looks exceptional. I might copy your hinge-technique some time.

Since there hasn't been an update for some time, this one will be quite long. To start some pictures of the finished chassis frame.

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e255/czubaka/daytona/P3170007.jpg

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e255/czubaka/daytona/P3170011.jpg

I started work on the engine. My idea was to replace the air filter with sport-style intake trumpets and to add a fuel rail.

This is how the orginal looks.
http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e255/czubaka/daytona/Engine-Daytona.jpg

My unsuccessful prototype fuel rail. I used styrene 0,3mm and 0,5mm rods, drilled 0,3, holes and it was ready :)

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e255/czubaka/daytona/P4040052.jpg

This is how it looks when installed. I also sanded down the air filter base .

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e255/czubaka/daytona/P4040053.jpg

I used these to make the intake trumpets-wire boots for electrical cables

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e255/czubaka/daytona/P4200003.jpg

This is how the finished engine looks. I used Detail Master braided wire for tehe fuel lines but unfortunately I didn't buy any fitting for is so I had to makemy own with hex rod ( the blue elements )

I added some decals to the oil fliters ( thanks Steven).

Sometimes, though, the gaskets on the old Ferraris aren't always perfect.

Where did you get the oil filter decals?
