2000 alero transmission

My trans is slipping. Gas milage has dropped. I have 128,000 miles bought used 20,000 miles ago. Could it be sensor or am i in trouble?

Welcome to AF.
I'd get your fluid level check first.
This will have to be done with a lift as your car doesnt have a dip stick to check.
Other then that its way past due for a trans fluid & filter Change, not a system flush :nono:
