If I go to open the window in the hatch then the wiper drops down like it is supposed to but when I close the window it just jerks and I have to move it up manually. Also the wiper is not working, moveing or anything when I use atempt to turn it on. Do you think it is a bad wiper motor? I just bought the van and never thought to check the rear wiper out lol.

Your motor is probably bad. I used to have a 96 and I had to replace the motor once and the weatherstrip around the glass once. Sometimes if the glass doesn't secure snuggly (worn out weatherstrip) the motor doesn't think the glass is closed and the blade will not move back up. If you buy a new motor, get it at the nissan dealer because it is cheaper and it is the same thing.
