Aftermarket manuals yuk!!

I bought this 97 Tacoma, new from my 86 pickup upgrade.
Had a Hane's, now I have a Chiltons for the 97
They left out some of the electrical diagrams
I have no lights in the instrument panel and can't find the fuse.
It's not the same as the 86 was, are there other fuse panels besides the driver kick panel?? They wouldn't put this in the under the hood box.
It's just the lightbulbs, all the indicators work, just no lights in the panel and behind the environment controls.. I hope the alarm people didn't screw something up, but they didn't work when I bought it, assumed a fuse, but can't find it yet

Do your taillights work? They're usually on the same fuse. Try your local library for a manual. Or, try ebay. Factory service manuals occasionally go up for auction.
Without a manual it can be hard to trace a power loss, but the obvious places to start would be the headlight switch and the panel dimmer switch.
