So I am looking at buying a newer car. I found that saabs are reasonably priced and are turbocharged (which I like because I miss my turbo vw gti). I searched for performance parts and it seems like there isnt a real market for them accept the older ones 88-95ish. Does anyone know of good places to buy aftermarket performance parts? Or another question can I fit a 02 turbo on a 99 or will a viggen 2.3 turbo bolt up to the 2.0t engine and piping and such also?

and will a viggen turbo bolt up??? no, you would need to custom Fab the exhaust manifold, but you can buy turbo upgrade kits..... People always think Saabs are slow cars, but they arent, my friend has a 9-3 thats running about 300hp-320tq.... and that car flys... i own a 1999 9-3 Viggen , which runs 230hp-270tq stock....

No, actually I went and drove a 99 9-3 this weekend and WOW was I suprised. It handles better and out performs a jetta 1.8t or vr6. It has a nicer interrior that doesnt look cheap. And actually makes me want to sell my corolla and get it more. I dont know why people dont like saabs??!!
