I have a 2004 Rodeo with less than 20,000 miles on it but am thinking of selling the thing. I was rear ended over a month ago; damage done to rear bumper and plate below rear bumper. The body shop guy has called for parts each week and each week was promised that the parts were backordered and that they were due to be shipped out the following business day.

Is this a common problem or is the body shop getting the run around? I could see if it was a later model but it's only 3 years old!

Frustrated in Boston

Is that the warehouse in Connecticut? The body shop says that all the parts are shipped from there.

Thanks to all who responded! I will pass this information along to the body shop. I really like the Rodeo and don't want to have to trade it in because it's so hard to find parts for.

I've driven an Isuzu for the past 15+ years! I bought a Trooper the first year they were available in the US and loved it so much that I purchased three others.

Thanks again, all.

....I will pass this information along to the body shop...... from what you've said, you might want to get this info yourself --search that site 2eye' gave you and/or call stcharlesisuzu and ask for Merlin (they are open saturday's). that way you will short-cut any runaround they may be giving you at the bodyshop....

stcharles isuzu gives internet discount, free shipping, no tax. they drop ship from the isuzu warehouse distributor which has the parts. and merlin will tell you availability status. it's worth the wait on the phone to talk to him, imo.
