I drained th radiator today and then flushed it out with water for 10mins with the heat on high. I drained the rest of the water and coolent residue. Filled with new 50/50 coolent/anti-freeze. I was driving for about a mile and noticed my engine heat gauge was rising very fast. My car shut off and i had to pull over. Now when i start my jeep it overheats and no Heat comes from the A/C just cold air. Please any help would be nice.

You mentioned you flushed out the radiator, but did you also flush out the heater core?

no i did not flush out the heater core. Could that be the problem? I was thinking it might be a bad thermostat.
