Hi everyone,

I am considering adding a permanent CB to my 1999 grand cherokee limited.
I currently run a hand held that I sort of converted to use in the jeep but don't like the idea of having to unplug everything all the time as I have it so it runs through an aux. power adapter and then use a mag mount antenna and for ease of use have a wired mic/speaker unit but it looks like a mess and granted works in a pintch but overall is a pain.

I am wondering if its possible to run a dual whipper setup off of the roof rack rails and if so "besides running the wires through the doors" any other ideas would be great.

Also if anyone has any insight on a good basic CB as I figure the antennas would/should be the biggest part of the system.
