Can anyone do better for me please?jsb88 09-30-2002, 02:20 PM I am trying to make a new background. What I want is this car speeding along with burning tyres, and what I am getting is rubbish! Please help me! What I did: jsb88 09-30-2002, 02:22 PM The original: Graphik Styles 09-30-2002, 11:01 PM did u use eye candy for the fire effect jsb88 10-01-2002, 03:10 AM something called cool3d, but wait a second! my son has eyecandy on this computer! ok I will try that sometime. Graphik Styles 10-01-2002, 06:41 PM the fire effect on eyecandy isnt that good ci5ic 10-01-2002, 09:23 PM Here's my take... Best way to get it to look like the car is speeding along is to put a motion blur on the back-ground rather than on the car itself. The only portion of the car that should be blurred is the wheels. Select the wheels with the marquis tool, and use "radial blur"... comes out nicely. I would've added smoke to the front wheels too, but I'm not sure wether the xj220 is all-wheel drive or not... http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/582429tirescrubbin.jpg Graphik Styles 10-01-2002, 09:38 PM YO Ci5iC thats the sickest thing i've seen............ WICKED JOB MAN jsb88 10-02-2002, 03:08 AM I think that picture is of the prototype version, so it is 4 wheel drive. that looks amazing! cph81 10-02-2002, 11:40 AM no driver:smoker2: put a driver in:smoka: jsb88 10-02-2002, 01:24 PM thats what I just thought, but didn't want to sound snobby. Can any one please try that? Styxnpicks 10-02-2002, 06:08 PM just tinte the windows and pretend the driver is in there jsb88 10-03-2002, 03:04 AM Good Idea! Wishmaster 10-03-2002, 01:44 PM Or put a man with a radio transmitter on him (like as a rc-car) or a little text explaining that it is the new car for the Knightrider.. :D Greetz Stefan 91HBSi 10-04-2002, 01:57 PM crap ci5ic, that's craziness. Are there any manuals that show you how to do that stuff. I bought my cousin's photoshop cd from him and he didn't have a manual, and I don't know that it would tell you that kind of stuff anyway. ci5ic 10-04-2002, 07:08 PM There's lots of tutorials out there to learn how to do it. Personally, I just messed around with photoshop til I figured out how it worked. If you have any specific questions, post them in this forum, and you're bound to get an answer...
