We have a 98 Beetle, and yesterday I noticed it was dripping oil (very small drips) when running - after leaving it warm up in our driveway due the extremely cold weather. There was approximately a 5" or 6" stain on the driveway that I became aware of later in the day, and when I moved the car back a few feet I again ran it and after a few minutes small drops of oil began to drip again.

What are the odds it's something minor - related to the cold weather?
What are the possibilities I can anticipate?

thx

Dunno about the cold weather as it never gets below 10 deg Centigrade here but most times oil leaks which are unexpected come from the oil filter leaking - sometime over or undertightened.
