1988 tercel carb swap

im swapping the carb of my 88 tercel to a 1.8 toyota carb. the problem I am having is that the engine doesnt stay running in idle. it accelerates great but in idle just shuts down. Any ideas of what could it be?

im guessing its the idle jet, you probably need to get a new jet for it, but you should ask somebody thats good with carburetors
