And I LOVE that shot of the shifter. You've got some verry nice shots in there. Great work! itrgtr 02-05-2007, 07:01 PM thanks! just finished the rest of the set. they were all more or less the same, so no need to post more than just one. http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/5425/img9237bsmalldb3.jpg i know this is a pretty common setting, but it was right next to the first place so i stopped by for a few shots. XeVeNskyLiNE 02-05-2007, 11:03 PM Very professional looking photos. The cut-a-ways are amazing. i-is-in-da-house 02-06-2007, 09:14 PM If that was on the Acura website, I would be sure it was taken by proffesionals (unless you are; which is what the pictures show) The transperent parts are really nice, and the picture of the rim showing the car is very nice, and many of the others are nice. itrgtr 02-07-2007, 01:32 AM thanks guys, i appreciate the comments :) pac4life 02-15-2007, 11:26 PM Those look really good. The transparency pics are amazing, especially the engine pic. ThomYorke 05-20-2007, 10:01 PM Are you a pro photographer? Those are great angles! I like # 1, 10, and 11. Look as if you clipped them out of a magazine, or stole them from Acura's website. xtremeimport 06-01-2007, 04:12 PM awesome shots man. i have always wondered how to do the transparency style pics. i know its edit in ps, but dont know how. lol. nice car too. Metal_GUN 06-02-2007, 07:43 PM Wow energon 06-02-2007, 08:24 PM awesome shots man. i have always wondered how to do the transparency style pics. i know its edit in ps, but dont know how. lol. nice car too. It's actually VERY easy. You put the photo of the door or hood open on the bottom layer, put the photo of them closed on the top layer. Then there's several different ways you could go about the transparencey. Either lower the opaceity of the "closed" layer and do some masking, or you could use the eraser tool with it's opaceity droped. there's other ways you could do it too. You'd have to make sure that both pic's were taken at the exact same angle and position, that's where a tripod would come in. A tripod is always good to use anyway. GreyGoose006 06-05-2007, 10:13 AM great pics. only criticism is that your wheel in the wheel shot is kinda dirty other than that, its amazing. and the cutaways are great nvr2low 07-10-2007, 08:12 AM a few tips, shoot later in the day. the car has too many hot spots from the sky above, all the bright spots take away detail from the car. if you are using a DSLR get a circular polarizer, it will help kill some of the hot spots, especially on the windows. i really like the interior cutaway shot, good job. avidmatt 08-15-2007, 01:55 AM this is probably my first shoot where i took my time and really planned out how i wanted the pics to turn out.
