My truck vs my buddies 02 Camaro SS m6 224 cam/bolt ons. Car made 400rwhp. No times at the track yet. He was on street tires to my Hoosiers.

I warmed up the tires, and we lined up. At the launch, we both came out alright(I had to feather it alittle due to spinning, and he bogged down alittle). He got alittle ahead of me, but I pulled on him to about a half a car probably around the 1/8th mark. I stayed about a half a car ahead for awhile, with him pulling up next to me at the end of the 1/4. Anywhere over the 1/4 and he can usually pull past me(unless we're on a road I can actually launch hard......he has a hard time catching me there).

He also raced another 11 second camaro ss three times that night. He won 2 of the 3 races.

We got a crappy vid of the action. You can't see that much, due to both the quality of the vid and the fact that it was early morning racing. You can see alittle and can hear the wonderful lsx motor sounds anyway. :naughty:

Overall, a good return race for the truck and hopefully I'll finish getting the bugs out of the it before too long. My tune is still alittle out of whack.

That sounded AWESOME!!!! Man it's all about the sound!! I think that's why I loved the "Dukes of Hazzard" so much when I was a kid. It was all about the General Lee and "The Sound". If you can, it'd be great to see some pics under the hood sometime.

Sincerely,
Matt

Boy that intake is huge. I can't tell from the picture, but are you still using the stock air box? I want to do the fan mod, but I would probably have to come up with some excuse for my wife as to why I need it. The "just because" wouldn't fly and I would probably have to give her the charts, diagrams and specs and submit them for approval!!:grinyes:

Anyway, thanks for getting the pictures so soon.

Sincerely,
Matt

hey, slow, is here any way you could give/show us more detail on your fan setup? I'm just about to intall a set of electric LS1 fans in mine, and I am looking for as many installation options as possible

Yeah, man. I'll take some more pics on my lunch break today for ya.

masapell- I'm using an open conical filter(cheap one I picked up on ebay)and I ordered the intake parts off of the net. All together I have about $110 in my intake setup and it works great!
