I'm looking at selling my Camry wagon and buying another one and turbo charging it. The one I'm looking at has the 2.0L inline 4 with no mods to it now.I know nobody makes a "kit" for the car, so I'll need to gather all the components myself. Does anyone out there have any advice for me? Where should I go for parts? I'll be able to do the labor myself. 2.2 Straight six 01-27-2007, 11:05 PM What engine does it come with? you can probably get a kit for the engine, even if the car isn't listed. jg09 01-28-2007, 07:06 PM What engine does it come with? you can probably get a kit for the engine, even if the car isn't listed. I was looking around and saw a Camry Wagon for sale with a V6 also. With the inline 4, I could turbo it, but with the V6, I could go twin turbo. I haven't looked at kits myself, but I had a friend of mine who's pretty knowledgeble look and he said nobody had a kit for the inline 4 or V6. UncleBob 01-29-2007, 12:37 PM there is no advantage to going twin turbo, I would keep it a single turbo either way. But you're going to be fabricating most of the components 2.2 Straight six 01-29-2007, 03:06 PM you want a twin-turbo camry wagon? what is this practical performance? jg09 01-29-2007, 03:52 PM you want a twin-turbo camry wagon? what is this practical performance? Come one, don't try and tell me you've never wanted to blow past 350Zs on the freeway. :) 2.2 Straight six 01-30-2007, 05:25 PM oh i have, and i've blasted past many a performance car in my friend's 650bhp green Volvo sation wagon. jg09 01-30-2007, 06:27 PM oh i have, and i've blasted past many a performance car in my friend's 650bhp green Volvo sation wagon. So you can see why I want to turbo my wagon? Good.:ylsuper: Black Lotus 01-30-2007, 08:16 PM Buy a copy of Bell's MAXIMUM BOOST if you don't have it yet. Good info on fabbing stuff up if you can't find a kit.
