And how steep is the learning curve?

I made "South Park" versions of my co-workers today, and I'd like to put together a little 640*480 animation... :) Where should I start?

Adobe After Effects does vector-based animation. I have been working on a south-parkish thing off and on but am usually sick of computers by the time I get off work.

There are Macromedia Flash tutorials here. (http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/Animation/)

Probably no shareware[freeware] that does it, eh? :(

Your 1 day to late. I had the full version of Macromedia Flash on my computer, but I was cleaning out my folder today and I deleted it because I never used it. You can download the full version on Kazaa, that's where I got it.

You can check here (http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=flash&tg=dl-2001&search=+Go%21+) , but you'll probably find try-before-you-buy stuff, not freeware.

Flash whoops ass. I've made a bunch of stuff with Flash... Just check out all the tutorials, and it's pretty easy to learn. The hardest part for me was the actionscript because up until I learned to use it, I didn't have any object-oriented programming experience. Anywho, here are some good links for tutorial references I've found useful:

Mentel, why don't u advertise more pirated $hit on this forum so FBI come knocking on your door tomorrow morning?
And I think that's not his point(to look for pirated warez), I think he's asking if there's freeware/shareware that he can use on work computers.

The only option other than Macromedia Flash that I know of is CoffeeCup Firestarter...
