2001 Lxi Coupe Transmission noise when cold

I have a 2001 LXi Coupe 6 cyl automatic that makes a rumbling noise in the winter when the engine is cold. It sounds like a fan rubbing on a housing, goes away when the engine warms up. Car shifts fine. Engine has 107000 miles, changed transmission fluid at 100000 and replaced timing belt.

Any ideas?
