2004 mustang. stock stereo not working

I have an 04 mustang special edition,v6. After i unplugged the harnest to install
my new subwoofers, i can't play cd's anymore. When i press cd, it displays a cd error message; or it says initializing, and then nothing else happens. I wonder if there is some sort of programming i have to do or a wire that is no connected right. I doubt its the wired because everything is connected to its right wire.

if this is mach460 the harness for the cd player and harness for the main unit look very similar. im not talking about the slim long one i mean the smaller square ones. make sure theyre not switched. and that it has the ground on right, although if it wasnt grounded it would probably not turn on. also try different cds, some burned cds wont work on it. all else fails i have 3 extra lower cd decks ive pulled out of all my mustangs if it is in fact broken.

does it sound like its trying to eject the cd? sometimes they get stuck i took a flat screwdriver and slid it in the slot until i felt i was below the cd and then lifted up gently and the cd comes out
