Getting some suspension bits, will my time improve?

Last time I went to the track I was running into a 35mph headwind (Possibly higher actually). My car was roughly 5 tenths of a sec. off from my previous best. I seem to be having problems with wheel hop. I added lower control arms and a panhard rod, but the car still has some wheel hop issues.

I will be returning to the track on February 10, and hoping to do better then my 13.1 sec. 1/4 mile pass. Since that time i've added 4.10 gearing and a short stick. I will also be putting in bilstein shocks/struts and subframe connectors. Will this help to take car of the wheel hop issues? My stock shocks/struts are completely gone on my car. It's gotten to the point that the car basically wallows in turns. I would get springs, but i'm fearful of the car scratching.

Anyways, any insight as to whether this combo will help out would be appreciated.

Thanks

The gears alone will make it better out of the hole.
LCA's will assist in wheel hop. Stock torque arm is normally good for average 1.8 type launches. Although if an angle is off, that is nice to be able to adjust with a nice torque arm.

Subframe connectors should help. Keep the car stiff.

I had problems with the 4.10's and the stock suspension bits. It still has wheel hop issues. Though the wheelhop still isn't that pronounced.

Wheel hop is the stock suspension giving way.
Or a bad pinion angle.

My bet...those LCA's were flexing enough to cause it a bit.

How much help will the short throw be?

Might not knock off time...but it will make the shifts more accurate.

Of course...that can knock off time if you had shift issues.

are shift issues a problem in f-bodies?

2-3 can be a pain.

Wasn't able to hit the track due to the news forecasting rain. Didn't wanna drive an hour away for nothing.

Suspension feels a little too taut to be honest. I think i'm gonna have more wheelspin issues now :p If only I was good at powershifting.

Is your car lowered??
Do you have LCA relocation brackets on it?

Yeah I have aftermarket lower control arm's on it, but the car isn't lowered. I wanna keep the stock ride height (Too many tall driveways in the area). Probably gonna get track times in April. I've heard that is the best time of year to get times.

Relocation brackets??

Although those aren't a big deal with a car at stock height.
Does it just feel too tight or something?? Those LCA's will keep the rear wheels much more steady under load.
