I have a 1998 Land Rover Range Rover and I want to know if, anyone has any ways to increase its gas mileage.

I inflate the tires to the maximum sidewall rating. Lighter rims works as well but cost $. When was the last time you had a tune up? Also, energy conserving low viscosity synthetic engine oils help a slight bit as well.

A basic tune-up can do wonders.

tune-up will help, synthetic oils and lubricants can help, if you want to buy parts then a performance intake and exhaust will help (although they won't save enough gas to pay for themselves and will make your car louder).

the easiest and cheapest way to increase gas mileage is by changing your driving habbits. don't accelerate hard from lights, take your time, and cruise slower. if you cruise at 80 in a 70 (i don't know what the average speed everyone goes in the states is) then drop it to 75 or 70, you'll save a bunch.

I hear the way to get the best gas mileage is to roll it down a hill in neutral, and push it uphills.

If the engine's off while rolling it down the hill, you'll save gas. If it's idling, however, it will use more gas than if the transmission is pushing the engine. Shutting the engine off for short periods of time will not save gas either. When the engine is first started, it is in open loop mode which uses more gas than once it is in closed loop mode. Every car I'm aware of has a timer that must run down before going into closed loop, so unless you know you'll be stopped/coasting for several minutes, leave it running.

I assume pushing it uphill was a joke?

You can try here (http://securetrue.water4gas.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=AF), the site can teach you how to increase your gas mileage by 45%. it's paid though.
