1986 Subaru GL 1.8L 4x4 needs new transmission. Need a 4 or 5 speed manual. Must be 4x4 compatible. Live in Washington but willing to travel. Thanx any help as soon as possible would be much appreciated.

Do a search on car-part.com . It's a good network of auto dismantlers. I see a couple things in the northwest in the $350 - 500 range, but there's lots of transmission options for you, and I don't know which is which.
