Legend or Q45?

I am trying to compare few vehicles that probably should not be compared….
It will be used by my cousin as a second (backup) car. If it would be my choice I’d look for a high mileage (forgot to tell you that even she is a dentist money does matter) Accord or Camry with nice body and no issues. She has to have a luxury car so I started looking at Lexus, Acura and Infinity. Fully thing is that in some cases they are same price or even cheaper, depending on condition, then those Toyotas and Hondas.
So here it is:

91 Acura Legend LS 160k (fair body, possible headgasket problem (it intermittently overheats)
95 Acura Legend L 160k (fair body, no evident issues) $2700 more then firs one!
95 Infility Q45 120k (fair condition all around, but the gas mileage!!!!) price about the same as 95 Legend

What your take on this?
Thanks!

A couple more possible additions to the list we are considering:
87 Mercedes 300 SEL 190k $1700 have not seeing the car yet
88 Mercedes 560 SEL 147k $1900 same
88 Mercedes 420 SEL 139k $2800 yet to see it

BTW both Legends turned out to be more or less beaters :newburn: Someone must be really good with photoshop, because on the postings they looked like a decent cars.

Thanks,

Personally I'd take the Infinity due to the lower mileage. People usually drive the crap out of Legends.

thanks alphalanos,

I am leaning towards Q45 too. Found anotherone 97 w 150k and A/C compressor gone for $4100....:uhoh: owner said it's $380 part but we all know it's not ending there :shakehead I assume freon is gone & from what I remember on Q45 either compressor or lines or both were in the spot where you need a 4 year old hands to get to it. I will try to check the condition of the lines if it does not have black death in it, but as far as replacing and recharging the A/C I know it's $$$

What about something like a Civic. Its cheaper to run and maintain.
