trade 328i for H22 prelude?Racing_Man 01-21-2007, 02:20 AM I come here with a question, who here would take a 5th gen prelude over an e36 328i? I have a '97 328i with some pretty high milage and I'm thinking of selling it to get a same year or newer prelude. Power wise they are about the same, and prelude looks newer overall. BMW forums say stick with bimmer, Honda forums say go with Lude. I hope this place here is the most non-biased towards either of them so I ask here. Should I do it? Edit: also should mention the bmw is auto and if I get a lude it will be a 5spd http://www.nacionalnaklasa.com/images/tekstovi/bmw3/bmw3_2_10.jpg vs. http://www.bestjapancar.com/OTHERMAKE/t4sQ.JPG Cl0ak 01-21-2007, 09:25 AM Preludes nice, if its newer thats a benefit. Huge aftermarket if you're into modifications and such. I prefer 5 speed over automatic too. That being said if the BMW has been trouble free i'd keep it. I've made the mistake of trading up to another car and having it be a piece of crap. In the end its your choice though so which do you really want. If you were going to sell the BMW anyway than the lude is a good pick. G-man422 01-21-2007, 10:33 AM To be honest, i would probably trade for the Lude. 1) Its a honda, they last for ever, and are known for the reliability. 2) They look amazing (not that the Bimmer doesn't). 3) Its a plus if it has lower miles. 4) 5 speeds are fun. But at the same time, the BMW just has a certain charm to it. What will you be using the car for? traveling, modifying, etc... Racing_Man 01-21-2007, 12:19 PM Well I'm 19 and I think I will have more fun in the prelude. The BMW is a 4dr automatic while prelude is 2dr manual, so that is kind of a big change. The Bimmer has 180k miles so any prelude I get will be at least half that milage. porscheguy9999 10-22-2007, 07:36 PM You STAY in the Bimmer. Got it? ryanfrompoco 09-07-2009, 03:00 PM the BMW is a RWD sedanand the honda is a FWD coupe to be honest I would stay with the BMW. Shpuker 09-11-2009, 12:48 AM Keep the Beamer it's a better car Honda's look like shit and are easy to break( dent wear out etc) you'd be better suited to just put a little fixin up into the bmw vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
