Goodbye Countach hello DiabloScarecrow 01-20-2007, 03:47 PM When I bought the Countach 4+ years ago I thought it would be for a lifetime of ownership. However the opportunity to purchase a superb Diablo came my way, and the Countach had to go. I've put a few photos of the new beastie on my website for anyone who is interested. GT's were one of the best made next to the 00/01 VT. Scarecrow 06-08-2007, 07:26 PM As promised above, a few photos from our trip to the factory have now been included on my website, for anyone who is interested. Scarecrow 06-20-2007, 06:39 PM What's the difference between the Gt and VT? The GT is a limited production model - only 80 cars were made, all left hand drive. It has 2 wheel drive as opposed to the VT's 4 wheel drive, and the GT is slightly more powerful as well as being lighter, which makes it a bit quicker. The dominating difference in looks is that the GT has a large single air scoop on the roof, and a scalloped bonnet/hood cover to assist air flow over the oil cooler. That's all I can think of from the top of my head. HTH Scarecrow 07-03-2007, 07:15 PM -Davo 07-09-2007, 05:07 AM Also some of the earlyer VT's were only 5.7 lt, but the GT's in the same range were 6 from memory, the later VT's were given the 6.0's by 1999-2000 for the models in those years. GT's have an intake on the top of the roof too and a slightly different body kit. apoclipsis 12-27-2007, 11:47 AM yeah man Diablo is better then Countach !
