I want a new coolant overflow bottle?

Thats right, im tired of the ugly/dirty coolant over flow tank(bottle). After doing the FMIC. The only spot I can fit the overflow tank is right in the middle of the engine bay. It looks sloppy. I was looking at the two they offer on this page.
http://www.diamondstarmotorsport.com/diyparts.shtml

They seem all good and all but what about the wires that run to the bottom of the stock overflow bottle. Im guessing they are important. It doesnt mention anything about wires on this to splice or plug in. What should i do?

I saw a smaller over flow tank that was plastic and normal looking( like a short fat oem one) a few months back but have no memory of what site it was.

All that wire is is a sensor, if you're low on coolant it just triggers the little light on your dash, that's it.

Also, I have about a 9x9 space for a AC fan. What size fan should I get. I mean, when they say a 10 inch fan, that just means the blades right? Not the other 2/3 inches of the shroud?
I want to keep my AC and get a fan in there soon!

ps/Does the ac fan push or pull?

Fans pull air from the front of the car, through the radiator/cooler/condenser towards the motor. I don't know about the dimensons and how they measure those fans, but I'm sure if you e-mailed someone about it, they could give you the exact sizes.

Those coolant tanks work great. I bought a very similiar one off of ebay. The only change I had to make was to take a little piece of piping and run it inside the tank, because it wouldn't pull the coolant back into the engine if it went inside the tank. Very easy to do.

Isnt it sappose to do that though. You think it didn't work right because you got it off of ebay? That seems strange.

It is supposed to do it. There is the hose going from the thermostat to the overflow tank. However, it doesn't actually go inside the tank. So it flows into the tank, but doesn't get sucked back in. I used a smaller hose and ran it through the larger one. It goes from the thermostat housing (right where the larger hose connects) into the actual tank then. I'll show you a pic later when I get home or tomorrow. Can't get to it from work. It's an easy fix if that one doesn't do it.

And I don't think its just an ebay thing. Looks like the hoses and everything are the same in the pictures on that site.

You can see I run a smaller hose inside the larger one from the thermo all the way to inside the coolant tank.

And the final

Easy is an understatement. :smooch:

Just need to find that right size hose. I actually cut mine off of a siphone (sp) thingy that I had.
