wierd i was thinking may be front diff acuator but 4x4 works only on auto mode on dash swicth help!:popcorn:

If the front axle does not engage in 4HI or 4LO but does operate in "AUTO" mode, there is a chance that the control module is at fault. When the 4HI or 4LO positions are selected, do the indicator lamps flash?
