I have a 88 Honda Civic....Just did an upgrade from a standard High, Low wiper control toggle to an intermediate toggle. The intallation went great, except one HUGE problem. The Wipers, when they are turned off have stopped in the "field goal" Position. I have checked all fuses, wires and even replaced the motor and am still having the same problem. I have un-hooked the ICU unit and they seem to go down, but then my intermediate no longer works. I only then have a low speed on my wipers. Where do I go next? Has any one else ever had this problem.....can anyone help me with this problem??? Please let me know because driving with your wipers straight up REALLY suck. Thanks

maybe the new wipers stop the motor in a diff position than your factory one? try disconnecting the motor and puth them down, reconnect and test... i cant see it being much else. (nice avatar btw...)

Yeah, I have pulled the wipers, turned everything off and re-set them manually but, now the intermediate switch doesnt work. I think the toggle might just be bad......So next step, uninstall and start all over. Thank you for the advise.
