There are turbo kits available for the 2JZGE, but don't expect to turn it into a high HP high boost motor. The high compression ratio limits things quite a bit. To find the kits just hit up google.

i would put lower compression pistons in it i wouldn't leave it stock.

Don't bother, just swap in a turbo motor.

Depends on if you do your own work. I would put it at $2500-$4500. After all is said and done it is cheaper than converting the NA motor. With one exception; if you plan on doing a build that is north of 600 HP then converting the NA motor is an option. At that point you will want to upgrade the pistons and rods for the extra power, so it balances out.

At those power levels quick spool is a relative thing. You will need a big single, and don't expect to see much below 3K RPM.

ok 3k is not bad what would the highest it would fully spool at? or what if i went for 500hp?
