yeah, all about cash.. i am saving for springs. was gonna get the teins, but apparently they rust easy and aren't warranted for it in Canada. besides, they are like 1400 US. but they have 16 settings!! I think i am going to get headers first since winter is coming and don't want to lower yet

dude, you should definitely get a header. that would be sick. especially since you already have intake and a cat back. just finish it up by getting a header. that would be sweet. then comes supercharger and your straight. hehe.

thanks man for the compliments. its funny you say that you wanted red, cuz i wanted black. it was between black and red and all the dealer had was red in a spec. so i bought it. and now i'm really happy with it. i honestly can't wait to get the c.f. hood. it will look crazy.

How did you and Hinggu get your exhaust to angle like that? I'm still debating if I'm going to get mine custom made or not. Red and black Spec's look so good to me. You and Muphasta both make me sick, I wanted black or red and i didn't get any, all they had was white. So I was like WHAT THE HELL, might as well get it while it's here ya know? Good job on the car man, it's looks good. Next after I get the headers I am gonna get some Parada tires, I might, MIGHT get those new Tenzo SINKO or SINKO-R's. They come in black, graphite or silver. They only weigh 6kilograms, I think thats only like 13lbs, I could be wrong. Check them out and tell me what you guys think. OH YEAH....if any of you guys are planning on getting seats, I know a good place to get them. WWW.mmrusa.com has Tenzo reclinable seats for only $240 a piece. That is REAL good. I am gonna probably get some seats, not any time soon, but in a little bit.

thanks a lot babyskyline. coming from you that means a lot. considering you have the phatest spec i've seen so far. so thanks again. i'll tell my friend what you said about his si. he's pretty proud of it. and it does look good. i'm not too into those cars, but his is nice. he too all the pics. he put the camera on the ground and then angled it up and stuff. its pretty kewl how they came out. and, yes i have run him many times. when i was stock i beat him almost everytime, as long as i got a good launch. but now that i have my aem and exhaust, i woop him everytime. he just doesn't have the torque to keep up. and he knows it too. he's saving up for turbo....so that'll be nice when he gets that. :sun:

if you bought new wheels would you sell your powder coated ones? if so, how much do you think you'd sell them to me for? keep me posted on that if you think that'd be something your interested in.

Your car looks good no way around it. When someones deserves props, you gotta give it up. About the rims, I have no idea of what to sell them for, I mean they are in perfect condition, no chips, nothing. I wouldn't even know how much I would want to sell them for ya know? But yeah I will deffinately keep that in mind. Hey you know what, do this.....find out from the dealership whenever you have time for how much the stock rims cost. Then I will take off for the fact that they are used. Hopefully I will be able to have enough to buy the rims. I have to check and make sure that they will fit the stock tires also. But yeah, maybe alittle down the road we can work something out or are you trying to get these soon? Anyway just let me okay.:D God just one more day until I get back to Dallas and pick my car up from my girls Aunt's house. I miss it.:alien:

dude, i'm in now hurry. actually i'm kinda broke right now. but i was just thinking maybe somtime in the future, when you are thinking about getting new rims. just keep me in mind for your stock ones. i'm still gonne have to sell mine too. maybe i'd even break even somewhat. you never know. unless.......how much did they charge you to powder coat your wheels? cuz i'm sure its cheaper than what i'm gonna have to pay. what would you think about whenever you get new wheels, i just send you my wheels and whatever you payed to powder coat, and then you send me your already powder coated wheels. that way you'll still have stockies to lean back on if need be. thats a pretty good idea i just thought of. lol. anyway, let me know what you think about that.

I've had my CF hood for about 2 weeks now and it's just sitting in my friends garage. The thing is that the latch for the hood is broken and they don't want returns :angryfire So my plan is for me and the homies to fix it and get hood pins. in about 2 weeks my friend from up north will come down and help fix it. After that, pics are on the way. A blackout spec with a CF hood :frog:

for the i/h/e combo, i would get the exhaust last. i want my car to seem i got nothin under the hood(or until greddy comes out with a cat)

That sux that your hood is broken! I'd be trying to get some $$$$ for my troubles! What brand did you go with? I'd love to get one, but I am trying to buy a house so $$$ is tight, and not the good tight!!!

I tell you what, since you are the one who asked to buy them first, you basically have first dibs on them. Whenever you are ready to buy them, you just let me know alright. Are your rims in good shape? Did you ever get a chance to find out how much a stock rim costs from the dealership? If not....no big deal, just whenever you have time. But that deffinately sounds like a good idea whenever your ready. Cool??:D

babyskyline....i'm glad you like that idea. i thought it was pretty genious my self. hehe. um, i've been at work all day, so i haven't been able to talk to nissan yet about how much the rims cost. my rims are in decent shape. two are perfect, and the other two got curbed a couple times 2 weeks ago when i had the flu. i was all light headed and stuff and i was driving like crap. :(. but, just let me know how much you want me to give you including my rims and then we can go from there. thanks a lot bro.

If you don't mind me asking how much did it cost to get your car lowered because it looks sweet dropped. That may be one of my only complaints about the cars is the rear end is way to high. so just let me know.

I know you are not asking me, but I have seen the Eibach pro kit for $2fiddy all over the place. That offers a 1.2" drop.

i got the hood from a friend of mine, i don't know where he got it. He hooked it up for 300. It's pretty clean. The broken latch is repairable.

daloosecannon, i got my springs off of ptuning.com. i have sprint springs which offer a 2" drop. which i think i already said. anyway, i think 2" is perfect. i payed a total of 206 shipped to my door. the springs were 180. but progress offers some too. i think they may be cheaper even. but around there. and i put them on myself so i didn't have to pay for someone to do that. but most places charge about 100 bux.

The installing springs for a novice enthusiast is cake. It's 3x's easier than installing honda/acura springs. installing springs for my cousin's integra took 2-3 hours, while we took 1-1 1/2 to install mine

Thanks guys for the helpful info caus ethat is definately a purchase that i'm going to make in the near future. Another question is how much did it affect your ride. I expect it to be a little more bumpy but was it a terrible difference. I had a lowered Paseo for about 5 years and the it rode like crap, but that may have just been the car anyway. daloosecannon, the ride is definitely bumpier. but it isn't really really bad. i had my civic dropped 3.5 inches, and that was a bumpy ride. hehe. until i got shocks of course. but 2" or less on a spec isn't a big deal. just a little bumpier. and i think that is a small price to pay for sweet ass handling.

Nice ride dude. I have a question about the CAI you installed... Did you have to pop a hole for the filter? or when you removed the box air filter was there a spot to jsut drip the equipment in? I just got a blackout '04 Spec-V and am looking at that, and the NISMO exhaust. It sounds too damn good.
