Mike9812121298 01-12-2007, 09:31 PM yeah sry i am just trying to finger out the problems that i might run into before i jump into the swap. im buying a 93 tt manaul for 1,500. it has upgraded ecu, greddy exh, one peice driveshaft, shiftkit, and some stillen ground control something. do u think this is a good deal? its comming with everything on the car, it even still runs. but the back end is wrecked. can i just strip the tt and just replace everything on my car for the most part? plan on up grading all the brake lines, and prob clutch lines. i called around to a few shops and one told me for 3,500 to 5000 they would do the tt and manual swap. for that price i would rather do it my self, lol. they were also telling me that u have to pull the wiring harnest out of the cassie, or something like that. anyideas? thanks k3smostwanted 01-13-2007, 08:14 PM yeah sry i am just trying to finger out the problems that i might run into before i jump into the swap. im buying a 93 tt manaul for 1,500. it has upgraded ecu, greddy exh, one peice driveshaft, shiftkit, and some stillen ground control something. do u think this is a good deal? its comming with everything on the car, it even still runs. but the back end is wrecked. can i just strip the tt and just replace everything on my car for the most part? plan on up grading all the brake lines, and prob clutch lines. i called around to a few shops and one told me for 3,500 to 5000 they would do the tt and manual swap. for that price i would rather do it my self, lol. they were also telling me that u have to pull the wiring harnest out of the cassie, or something like that. anyideas? thanks it is a deal if the motor runs good. plan on spending a good chunk of change and replacing some OEM parts while you are doing the swap. the TT swap is not that bad of a swap but it is a little more involved and requires more tools and knowledge. do some research...the net is flooded with information about TT swaps on 300zx as it is becoming a common thing. robzone0911 01-13-2007, 10:36 PM are the splines different on a manual n/a driveshaft, than a manual TT driveshaft? k3smostwanted 01-14-2007, 09:36 PM are the splines different on a manual n/a driveshaft, than a manual TT driveshaft? no dont think so...but ya might want to double check me on that. i am pretty sure though. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
