Anyone with thoughts on using Mystery Oil? Improve MPG? Damage engine or injectors? Says you can add to oil at change also...I'd like to hear from you guys who have used it before.

I've used it in gas and oil... never noticed any significant difference.
I've just used it from time to time as a cleaner... can only assume it is doing its job!
No complaints about it though.

When I was a mechanic at the airport we used it in the oil to break in rebuilt aircraft engines. It produced highly polished surfaces on all moving parts. It's good to add to the fuel at a ratio of 1 ounce to 2 1/2 gallons or 4 ounces to 10 gallons. Used as a top oil it lubricates the valves and the top rings of the pistons and keeps the ring lands from building up carbon. I use it in my oil and gas. In a 97 2.0 SPI engine I get 43 mpg in the winter and 47 mpg in the summer. At $3.85 a quart it pays for itself just in gas savings alone. Yeah,
I swear by it if you haven't noticed at this point. I use 1 qt. of mystery oil to 3 qts. of motor oil. In the winter time at startup it builds up pressure faster than just straight motor oil. I don't know what's in it so couldn't tell you. That's why they call it mystery oil. Btw it keeps injectors clean also.

I've been using it for awhile. Was told about it from a neighbor who said they used it in the service some 40 yrs ago and he's sworn by it ever since. I'll add 4oz to the fuel usually every, or every other, fill up. My mileage has gone up about 8-10 mpg's in the ZX2, (it even took my S-10 to about 28-30 mpg) I've never used a full quart in an oil change, usually about a half quart or so, but maybe I'll try a full quart next time if ya say its so good. You are right tho, @ $3.85 a quart it does pay for itself. Just FYI if ya buy it by the gallon you'll save even more $$$. WAl-Mart has it for around $12/gal. Just save the old quart bottles from before and refill em, saves space in the car and has the 4oz markers on it. Also, I have heard that it works like a dry gas and takes up moisture, and also like a stabilizer for storing, I cant verify this as I haven't used it for those purposes, but that's what I've been told

Glad to see no negative comments yet, but would still like to hear some more, the stuff's been around a long time, im sure lots of ya have used it.
