New to the hobby, TL01-LA Beams Integrazanthrax 01-07-2007, 12:56 PM I'm new to the hobby, me and some friends all bought some relativly cheap cars to race eachother on the parkinglot. I realise that getting a Tamiya XB might be cheaper but I just had to build it myself. Tamiya TL01-LA 1/10 electro chassis. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/zanthrax/rc/IMG_2146.jpg Electronics aren't installed yet, and I'm still waiting for the receiver to arive. The Honda Integra DC5-R body that came with the kit, I like the stock look of it more and choose not to put on the racing decals. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/zanthrax/rc/IMG_2153.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/zanthrax/rc/IMG_2154.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/zanthrax/rc/IMG_2155.jpg And with a HPI countach body. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/zanthrax/rc/IMG_2148.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/zanthrax/rc/IMG_2150.jpg This body is a lot wider than the DC5, I allready ordered a set of offset wheels, 3mm for the front, 6mm in the rear. Setup: - Tamiya TL01-LA Beams Integra - JR LST2 steering servo - Futuba R122JE receiver - Kyosho Perfex radio - 7.2V 3200mAh NiMH battery - Take Off inserts medium - Front and rear stabiliser SoleHyphy 01-07-2007, 03:31 PM Nice, Tamiya XB Integra Mugen BEAMS was my first RC..
