Hello. I have a 1998 chevy malibu. I recently got a amplifier and 2 subwoofers installed in my car. My battery keeps draining and my car wont start. Some one told me to get a "high volt alternator". My questions is where can I find one, and possibly whats place to get a good price on one? Thanks

Hi,
are you certain that the Amps power wires are shutting down when you turn off the car?

I would think that most of your more popular auto outlets would carry them.
Your stock is around 102-105 amps.
So, if you system is pulling more then that,
you could certainly use the bigger 120amp alternator.

You should find many on the internet.
Wasnt sure on what engine you have, but I'll look around on the net!
