i have a 93 vr4. my oil pressure gauge stopped working a couple of months ago. someone told me i may need new sending units. someone else told me to check to see if something had come unhook. i hardly drive it, but today while i was changing my oil, i seen two wires. One had a green clip on it and it was hooked to the terminal like its suppose to be, and the other wire had a clip for a terminal, but the wire was just hanging . i looked around for an hour, but couldnt find a terminal to hook it in. does anyone have a picture of what im suppose to be hooking it to??? i dont know if the terminal has broke off or what? but i just need a picture to go off with???any help would be appreciated.

pic came from here http://stealth316.com/2-oilpresloc.htm. the wires can be easily knocked off their terminals from the gauge unit (sending unit) and the pressure switch. happened to me one time.

thanks for the info...is there a terminal on both of them? the one that is hooked up now is the smaller one of the two. the oil pressure switch is the one hooked up now. is there suppose to be a terminal on the oil pressure gauge unit also??? because on my oil pressure gauge unit there is no terminal on it??? i cant tell by that picture.

it should slide onto the end sidways not like pluging a clip in.. you slide it onto the nub sticking out

yes, there should be a wire connected to both the pressure switch and the gauge unit.
