Just as an FYI. The door lock switch on the driver side door of my 2001 Malibu started sticking both in the up and down position. I removed the screw behind the door handle and removed the small panel with the door lock switch. I had some lithium grease so I sprayed it into the switch and rocked the switch back and forth. It works great now. Only curious thing is that before I did this when the chime would sound and doors locked just the lights would flash when it locked. Now the lights flash and the horn toots. I actually like it better now, but don't know what I did to cause the horn to toot when the doors lock.
