Squeak from the rear (possibly left rear tire)

New guy here. 2001 suburban with almost 100,000 miles. Looking at Christmas lights last night noticed a squeak under the sub. It is present under acceleration only, I can let off the gas and it stops. Applying the brakes does not change the noise. Around 20-30 mph it disappears. Once home I pulled off the DS rear tire, put trans in neutral and spun hub - I could hear the squeak. Now the squeak sounds like someone pushing down on an old iron bed, if you push - squeak, on the sub it was squeak squeak, squeak squeak. I removed the brake pads and the squeak con't while spinning the hub. I could not remove the caliper bracket due to bolt tightness, soaked with solvent and may try again tonight. The brakes are all original, rears are looking like they could be changed, fronts are fine. I know the parking brake setup is somewhat useless, just wodering if something in there is loose and rubbing? I also tried the reverse/stop to possibly tighten park brake. Any thoughts on what else to look for? Thanks for any help, Nelson

Nelson: Welcome to THE forum. Sounds as if you've done a good job of eliminating the brake pad wear indicators. Next thing to try is get all four off the ground and pinpoint were the noise is coming from.
