Mclaren GTR Autobarn Titaniumporschefreak 12-20-2006, 06:33 AM Dear forum members, I have seen a modelcar of the Mclaren GTR F1 witch is from Autobarn and limited to 50pcs. It is the McLaren F1 GTR-LM in titanium with tan interior. Limited to just 50 pieces with wing. Is this a fantasy model or was the model in this color ever build and if yes does somebody have pictures. Greetings hurstg01 12-20-2006, 06:48 AM Dear forum members, I have seen a modelcar of the Mclaren GTR F1 witch is from Autobarn and limited to 50pcs. Greetings Hi, i'm guessing its a 1/43 scale model, sounds like its an F1 with the High Downforce Kit (HDF kit) added to it - I can't remember seeing any with a tan interior, although the nearest (!?) is chassis #018 with a light cream interior - http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/6100/01820bi5.th.jpg (http://img133.imageshack.us/my.php?image=01820bi5.jpg)http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/5443/front26eltw2.th.jpg (http://img243.imageshack.us/my.php?image=front26eltw2.jpg) Have you got a link through to the model? I think Autobarn sometimes 'create' models they believe will sell, rather than copies of actual real-life cars porschefreak 12-20-2006, 06:58 AM Dear Hurstg01, I have bought the model via Miniwerks (www.miniwerks.com) If go to current inventory and than chose Autobarn you wil see the modelcar. The difference with the mclaren GTR F1 on youre pictures is that the modecar does not have a front wing. Greetings PS: thanks for the info hurstg01 12-20-2006, 09:55 AM $300.00  jkbon 12-21-2006, 04:13 AM Well, what they call "McLaren F1 GTR-LM Titanium" is just a Mclaren F1 and, what they call "McLaren F1 GTR-LM Titanium with wing" is just a Mclaren F1 with a wing: such a Mclaren doesn't exist. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
