Hi I have a 67 firebird and want to put an aftermarket head unit in. I can not find an installation kit for it any where. Does any one know where to find one or do something to cover up the extra space.

When I completely restored my interior I stuck entirely with classicindustries.com for my 76. It turned out great and their customer help desk is open 24/7. Great bunch of guys.

Once again give them a look. I'm sure they have what you need. Besides the plate you are looking for is interchangeable for first gen Camaros and T/A's

Don't hack up your dash, it would be hard to undo and hurt the value and originality of the car. There is a manufacturer that makes modern soundsystems that can be hidden in your trunk and/or glovebox. http://www.superchevy.com/technical/interior/soundsystem/0407sc_cas/ If you replace the head unit w/ an OEM one, you can simply use a FM transmitter for your iPod or CD player; the sound quality isn't CD quality but for $40 it's hard to beat.
