Hello everyone! I own a 1995 Chevy Tahoe 5.7 TBI , 4x4, 4 door. It runs good but
needs some TLC to get it in shape. I have had numerous little
problems but the engine and transmission are pretty solid. I try
to do as much work myself to save money and learn a few things. Iv
got a bunch of small problems i need help with so I am going to
start a few topics. Ok I am going to list my first problem that I am trying to solve.

The ABS system is behaving erratically. I had to pull the fuse
after I almost crashed into another car because the ABS kicked in
hard during normal braking. The ABS light is on and I would like
to know if the OBD I port will tell me an error code for the ABS
or if there is a separate method of diagnosing the unit. It will
work properly at some points then it will not work at all then
it will come on during normal braking. Is it a bad sensor, dirty
tone ring or a bad module? Any help would be appreciated.

See Table 3.5.2 in http://www.iequus.com/downloads/manuals/gmcre.pdf for a list of the abs codes.

Jumper A and H to read the codes (See http://www.troublecodes.net/GM/).
